East Tennesseeb State University
The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) at East Tennessee State University offers a wide variety of scholarships to help you offset the cost of your education.
Many of these scholarships are available whether you’re majoring in one of these programs or simply exploring them as an extracurricular interest.
The funds for these scholarships are proudly provided by alumni and friends of the College of Arts and Sciences.
Scholarship Requirements
Selection Criteria
Departments within the CAS at ETSU provide scholarships to current and future ETSU students who meet these criteria:
- An undergraduate or graduate student who is majoring in a program within the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS).
- A student who is full-time (i.e., taking 12 hours or more per semester) during the semesters that the scholarship is received.
Selection for the scholarships is based on factors such as:
- GPA (in high school and/or college)
- ACT/SAT scores (for incoming first-year students)
- Hometown location
- Work experience and/or career objectives
- Participation in extra-curricular activities
Scholarships are not automatically renewed each year; students must re-apply each year to be considered for a scholarship.
Please note that students receiving full scholarships through the University Honors or Roan Scholars programs are not eligible to receive additional CAS scholarships.
